Intricate Craftsmanship

Delicate mix of old and new

For this detached seven-bay two-storey neo-Elizabethan style house with dormer attic, our aim was to create a luxury destination; a home away from home. Particular attention was given to conserving the aesthetic of this period property through a carefully curated selection of antiques, a delicate mix of old and new, and all materials and finishes were selected in keeping with the overall tone and grandeur of the property.

In renovating this protected, heritage-listed structure, we optimised room function while simultaneously creating elegant and timeless interiors brimming with charm & sophistication. Originally built as a summer house for the Talbot family of Malahide Castle, the original house was destroyed by fire and the subsequent rebuild was taken up by the Jameosn family of whiskey fame, adorning the large staircase windows with their family crest. Our team of expert interior designers and architects embarked on providing a full programme of bespoke joinery and plasterwork, painting & decorating, comprehensive furnishing and turn key styling. Much effort was imparted towards creating an interiors scheme in keeping with the original architecture of the property and safeguarding any original features.
